Echad

I have decided to start a blog.

I have many thoughts and ideas that I just never write now, so i figured 'why not?'

I should actually be studying for my 7:30 am Hebrew Prophets exam tor sleeping in order to be well rested for said exam.

I feel really lame for starting a blog.

I guess I should explain all the funny words surrounding this blog. They are all Hebrew. Kefitzat Haderech literally means "jumping the path." It is used in the Hebrew Bible as well as other Jewish literature to describe the phenomenon of crossing a distance instantaneously or with great speed, much like teleportation. It is also an indirect Dune reference. Wikipedia it for a fuller explanation.
Machashavot means "thoughts, ideas, or intentions," and I chose it for a blog name because my blog will contain many of my thoughts, ideas, and intentions.
Echad means one, and it is the title of this entry because it is my first entry.

Laylah Tov.
